"you klingon bastard... prepare to die!"

When you see this, post in your own journal with your favorite quote from The Princess Bride. Preferably not "As you wish" or the Inigo Montoya speech.

Temporarily breaking the Inigo Montoya rule:
I love combining Captain Kirk's "You Klingon bastard, you killed my son..." with Iñigo Montoya's "You killed my father. Prepare to die!".
Go ahead and try it outloud -- say the Kirk line using Montoya's accent.  Then say the Montoya line using Shatner-speak.

It's fantabulous!

When you see this, post a line from Douglas Adams in your journal.

One of the extraordinary things about life is the soft of places it's prepared to put up with living....  It will even live in New York, though it's hard to know why.

3 Things

I'll play along as well.

* Post 3 things you've done in your lifetime that you don't think anybody else on your friends list has done.
* See if anybody else responds with "I've done that."
* Have your friends cut & paste this into their journal to see what unique things they've done in their life.

  1. Helped undress a mannequin so that Earl Campbell could buy the drovers coat that it was wearing.  (He's a large man.)
  2. Was forced to lay off my entire staff and outsource their work, and later earned a healthy bonus and some stock for my efforts.  (the corporate world still confuses me.)
  3. Ran off the stage in tears while performing a solo, because I forgot one of the verses to "Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head".  (This was when I was 5 -- which sadly was long before I learned to heckle the audience.)
As you can tell from this far reaching list, there's precious little in my life that I've done that is "unique".  That, and I have a sucky memory -- so it's a miracle that I could remember these 3 things.
